# Generating Service Client

|
1. Install dotnet-svcutil (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/core/additional-tools/dotnet-svcutil-guide)
|
|
2. run `dotnet svcutil https://www-lc3cst.myappro.com/ACS/ConnectorService.svc -n "*,CRIF.ACTion"`
|
|
3. move Reference.cs into desired directory structure
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
Note that the generated Service Model Binding will reject HTTPS URLs due to the use of `BasicHttpBinding`, which results from the WSDL's listed (but unusable) HTTP endpoints. A `BasicHttpsBinding` object should be used instead. |
