Introduction
Archiver Api was created to help archive/move files to different locations. Dna/Automic runs and stores applications(Reports, Statements, Notices) in a way that we need this API to gather the necessary requirements to move the files. Archiver Api takes in an ArchiveRequest that has Identifiers, date range, DNA's base path, and where the files should be moved to. Based on the data retrieved from the CoreApiWrapper we can determine more precisely where the files are and if we need to use an alternative name. The Api then uses FileOperationsApi to help bulk move the files.
Process
- Fill out ArchiveRequest.
- Currently we have 3 controller end points that will use the date supplied to create a data range and the config to fill out the necessary ArchiveRequest model.
- Queue the ArchiveRequest.
- Retrieve data from CoreApiWrapper using the supplied ArchiveRequest data.
- Fill out a BulkOperations to send to FileOperationsApi.
- Send to FileOperationsApi.
- Await response from FileOperationsApi.
- Check that the files were in fact moved and if not send an error message to the configured error recipients.
Net 8 Upgrade
Added necessary changes for Net 8 version.
Removed one nuget package that was marked vulnerable when updating to Net 8 (Microsoft.AspNetCore.Authentication.OpenIdConnect Version="5.0.1"), does not appear to be used.
For future, may want to update deprecated nuget packages.
